I've been using this Fruth Pharmacy for awhile now since my old pharmacy closed. I've always had excellent customer service and they have excellent communication with the customer. Due to a prior authorization required for my medicine and the time it would take for that to happen and asked about the cash price and the pharmacy tech politely and didn't have to but she put some sort of prescription savings program on my account and instead of $109, my rx was $62. They always take care of me and I find the service to be outstanding. I also enjoy the unique knickknacks that the store always has including shirts and other merchandise for local schools.
Used them as my prescription pharmacy but won't ever again. Gave all of my information with my prescriptions and came back an hour as instructed. They had me sign and were about to give me my medicine then told me no one checked my insurance (even though they had my card the whole time). After speaking with 4 different people they told me my insurance doesn't cover the prenatal vitamin they keep in stock and it would be a $77 charge. I asked for my prescription back and told them I would go elsewhere. They said they would call my doctor and figure something out. I call back the next morning and they tell me my prescription is ready. Come to find out they CHANGED my prescription without letting me know. The new one does not have DHA, which my doctor and I specifically discussed was to be on my prenatal. The drug they had given me had far too much Vitamin A. Glad I did my research before trusting the cluster I dealt with. Will not be going back there for a prescription ever again. Very disappointed.
